Recovery Support Services Along the Continuum of Substance Use Disorder Treatment

This Lecture Series presentation will review frameworks for planning Recovery Support Services (RSS), an important component of the substance use disorder (SUD) treatment continuum. Identifying appropriate supports to enhance an individual’s health within, as well as outside of, the context of formal SUD treatment services is an essential component of maintaining a focus on recovery. This presentation will provide participants with information and activities to integrate effective Recovery Support Services (RSS) at different stages along a continuum of care to improve patient retention and engagement. A panel discussion will follow this presentation, featuring representatives from SAPCs specialty treatment provider network, with particular experience or focus on recovery support services. This portion of the presentation is intended to assist SUD providers in identifying and addressing real world considerations in implementing recovery support services.
