King County Recovery Coalition and Washington Recovery Alliance are excited to be celebrating our second annual Recovery Day at the Mariners on Sunday, September 12 in Seattle, Washington.
Our day begins at 10:10am with a Recovery Rally ( youth in recovery, family member and adult in recovery speakers) in Occidental Square (117 S. Washington St), then at 10:40am we will march to the game, arriving at T-Mobile Park right around the time gates open at 11:10am, where our Pre-event includes food, activities, resources, Mariners Recovery T-shirts and more. People in recovery will throw and catch the first pitch, a new recovery video will be shown on the Jumbotron and we will celebrate recovery out loud. Game starts at 1:10pm. Bring the whole family for a day of fun. It’s a kids run the bases day.
For those in town on Saturday, there will be a recovery sign-making pizza party at Recovery Cafe SODO (4202 6th Ave S.) on 9/11 from 12:00-2:00pm. Get your signs ready for the rally and march.
