In our community discussions, we take a deeper dive into the six sections of the Let’s Talk booklet with guest facilitators and topic experts. Parents and caregivers have the opportunity to share their experiences and best practices in a safe, solution-oriented environment.
Just say KNOW
Understand the current culture around substances that our young people are facing. What we need to KNOW and do.
Speakers:
Dr. Jeff DeVido, an addiction expert will educate us on the current drug culture and the deadly nature of fentanyl and how to respond
Ed Ternan, creator of Song for Charlie in response to losing his son to fentanyl poisoning. His expansive resources and understanding of the danger facing our young people will help equip parents.
A high school student will share their knowledge and perspective.
