The Glow Run for Recovery 5k event will be an in-person race this year with a virtual option. The run/walk family friendly event will be held on Sept 18th 2021. This is West Virginia’s biggest event for raising awareness of National Recovery Month in September and supports people with Lived Experience with Substance Use Disorder. We provide this event for free each year to participants of local SUD treatment and recovery housing programs with the goal of uniting West Virginia’s growing recovery community.
We aim to break down the stigma that people with substance use disorder face and provide a safe and healthy environment for people to celebrate their recovery in our capitol city.
