Inspiring speakers talking about their pathway to recovery, self care during Covid-19 and the importance of National Recovery Month.  Another segment will feature a play about a family moving from addiction to recovery, followed by a discussion of Substance Use Disorder as a family disease along with supports available to family members. A third segment will focus on mental health and covid-19. Mental Health Providers will discuss how the epidemic has affected their business modal and the challenges of engaging clients during the pandemic. The fourth segment will be a round table discussion of the unprecedented crises affecting recovery. How to make sense of the corona virus pandemic, opioid overdose epidemic, racial inequities, calls for criminal justice and police reform, the black lives matter movement; all swirling around at the same time.
