Celebrate Life is a FREE event that brings people together to appreciate all the positive aspects of our lives and recognize we all deal with problems of one sort or another. Life is often difficult, but there are tools, people, and organizations available to us so that we may enhance and improve our well-being to experience more joy in our life. This event is for everyone, especially those who have ever felt stressed, anxious or depressed. Many organizations will have information booths available to help you learn what services and activities might be available to help you or a loved one find more joy, hope, peace or love in your life. There will be motivational speakers, high-energy and up-tempo bands performing live music, food trucks, ice cream, a bounce house and other activities for children. Please plan to join us for this fun and worthwhile day in the park. The Take Action Coalition of Clinton County will accept donations from interested organizations and sponsors who will be able to go on stage during a break to describe what they do, who they are, where they’re located, etc. All donations will be used to defray costs and to support the Take Action Coalition of Clinton County’s mission to reduce the stigma related to mental health and alcohol/substance abuse; to provide alcohol and substance use education, prevention, and recovery support; and to support families and friends dealing with a loved one’s alcohol/substance abuse.
