The Pittsburgh Recovery Walk celebrates the many roads to recovery from addiction and all those who travel them. Specifically the walk aims to:
1) celebrate recovery and recovery supports in our region
2) eliminate stigma toward people personally impacted by addiction
3) showcase the many resources for recovery support, health, and harm reduction in our region
The Pittsburgh Recovery Walk is free and open to the public. Everyone whose life has been touched by addiction or recovery is invited to join our celebration. The day will include speakers, the Pittsburgh Recovery Awards, a parade through downtown, a musical performance, games, a photo booth, food trucks, and a resource fair.
