ʻImi Ke Ola Mau a Mau: Hoʻi I Ka Piko

This event will feature speakers involved in the 2007 ʻImi Ke Ola Mau report developed under a CoOccuring Hawaiʻi state infrastructure grant.

Objectives:
Glimpse into the past, to learn how kupuna (elders) blazed the trail to provide cultural avenues of healing for Native Hawaiians
Develop an understanding of the history & community efforts undertaken by kūpuna (elders) and kakoʻo (supporters) prior to and throughout the CoOccuring state infrastructure grant and the ʻImi Ke Ola Mau report
Learn about efforts to further cultural approaches in co-occurring mental health/substance use issues among the Native Hawaiian Community
Explore early efforts of ADAD to build connections and funding for cultural approaches to treatment
